Oi, muito prazer, meu nome é Vinícius Lopes, sou aluno de engenharia na Universidade de Uberaba, tenho 17 anos e muitas pretensões em relação a esse curso de inglês, pois hoje no mercado de trabalho é essencial ter um curso de línguas, e principalmente um da língua inglesa por ser à mais falada em todo o mundo. Estou bastante ansioso para o início das aulas.

Hey everybody!
Bom meus amigos hoje eu quero mostrar a vocês um tópico de pronúncia muito importante no estudo da língua inglesa. Você sabia que no inglês nós temos sons que não se parecem em nada com o português e vice-versa? Sempre que vamos pronunciar uma determinada palavra, devemos ficar atentos a qual regra de pronúncia ela mais se adéqua. Os britânicos são pessoas que levam a questão da pronúncia muito a sério e esse é um dos pontos que mais diferem a pronúncia europeia da norteamericana.
Os vídeos a seguir falarão de três sons importantíssimos na língua inglesa e bem diferentes do nosso português: o som do “TH”, do “T” e do “ǝ” o tão conhecido e tão difícil de se pronunciar, denominado schwa.
Bom, os vídeos são muito engraçados, mas ajudam e muito no estudo da pronúncia. No início você precisará forçar bem. Após muito treino, sua pronúncia virá normalmente como se você falasse português. Well, enjoy the vídeos...
Se você tiver mais dúvidas quanto a pronúncia, questione seu professor para que ele lhe mostre uma maneira aprimorar e sanar suas dúvidas. Lembre-se, pronúncia boa só aparece depois de muito treino.

Bom pessoal, hoje gostaria de falar de falar a respeito de uma ferramenta que todos os estudantes utilizam na hora de aprender e que não é tão apoiada pelos professores: a tradução.
Em suma, tal ferramenta não é bem vista porque educa o cérebro a sempre que ouvir uma sentença em inglês ou em qualquer outro idioma, a traduzir para o idioma nativo da pessoa para uma melhor compreensão. Cuidado ao utilizar a tradução para esse fim, pois o que você precisa para atingir a não é ser bom em tradução, mas sim, em entender automaticamente o que a pessoa lhe fala.
Assim, nós professores deixamos como dica: traduza apenas palavras que você não conhece e que são importantíssimas para o contexto. Se caso você sabe o que significa, não traduza nada. Nunca traduza textos, músicas e etc. Tente entender a história contada e se caso surgir uma palavra desconhecida, apenas traduze-a se esta estiver presente mais de uma vez no decorrer do mesmo.
Ah, e acima de tudo, tente aprimorar com o tempo sua capacidade de listening e understanding. Assim, você não precisará traduzir tudo o que você vê em qualquer outro idioma além do inglês. Bom fica a dica...

Charles Spencer Chaplin was born in 1889 in London. His family was poor and he had a hard childhood. In 1890 he left Britain for the USA, in 1914 he made his first film. In his films he created the character of a little man who always faced life with courage.
Chaplin was married four times, he had four kids. In 1952 he left the USA with his family and lived in Switzerland until his death.

Today, I'd like to post one history too important to England: Queen Victoria.
Queen Victoria (Alexandrina Victoria; 24 May 1819 – 22 January 1901) was the monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from June 20th 1837 until her death. From May 1st 1876, she used the additional title of Empress of India.
Victoria was the daughter of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn, the fourth son of King George III. Both the Duke of Kent and the King died in 1820, and Victoria was raised under close supervision by her German-born mother Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld. She inherited the throne at the age of 18, after her father's three elder brothers had all died without surviving legitimate issue. The United Kingdom was already an established constitutional monarchy, in which the Sovereign held relatively few direct political powers. Privately, she attempted to influence government policy and ministerial appointments. Publicly, she became a national icon, and was identified with strict standards of personal morality.
She married her first cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, in 1840. Their nine children and 26 of their 34 grandchildren who survived childhood married into royal and noble families across the continent, tying them together and earning her the nickname "the grandmother of Europe". After Albert's death in 1861, Victoria plunged into deep mourning and avoided public appearances. As a result of her seclusion, republicanism temporarily gained strength, but in the latter half of her reign, her popularity recovered. Her Golden and Diamond Jubilees were times of public celebration.
Her reign of 63 years and 7 months, which is longer than that of any other British monarch and the longest of any female monarch in history, is known as the Victorian era. It was a period of industrial, cultural, political, scientific, and military change within the United Kingdom, and was marked by a great expansion of the British Empire. She was the last British monarch of the House of Hanover; her son and successor Edward VII belonged to the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the line of his father.
She was very important when she was the queen of England. Many important things had been done in her government. For sure, queen Victoria gave England one of the faces the country has today.

Hello everybody, I want to share with you my act of solidarity, my mother and I went to Danielle House, I called, I asked what they needed and arranged a visit. There I made up some friends, we take clothes, coats ...

Who received me very well was Beatriz, Nilce the Cintya Nilza and met the sister of a patient who is undergoing cancer treatment (2nd Monday I visit him in Helio Angotti).
Another way to help is that I work on an AM radio, 670 Victorious, which will have its 1st benefit concert August 08 at SESI Mines, 19 o'clock, so I gave the name of Danielle House to be benefited with food perishable and distribute some invitations there. Soon I will try to post this in English, teacher Mirelle ok? Kisses, *
